Daily Rates

Daily rates will apply if you have a scheduled UPS pickup, or have a UPS contract that provides you with daily rates.

Retail rates will apply if you ship from a UPS location, don’t have a payment account or scheduled pickup service with UPS, or you ship infrequently using a payment card.

Credit Card Surcharge Information

UPS will add a surcharge of 2% of the total amount paid on an invoice to invoices paid by credit card ("Credit Card Surcharge"). The Credit Card Surcharge will appear on the next invoice following the invoice paid by credit card. The surcharge is not applicable to ACH or debit card payments. The Credit Card Surcharge currently does not apply to accounts based in the following jurisdictions as reflected in UPS account information: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Puerto Rico, and Oklahoma.

Updates to Other Charges

Effective March 10, 2025, the U.S. Ground Domestic and the UPS SurePost® Fuel Surcharge and the U.S. Domestic Air Fuel Surcharge will change. Details on these changes can be found using the link below:

UPS is making the following changes to modernize invoices and payment options for customers.

Effective March 17, 2025:

  • Paper Commercial Invoice Services Surcharge: A fee of $10.00 per shipment and will be applied to the shipper when the commercial invoice is not provided by the shipper in digital form using UPS Paperless® Invoice services prior to the processing of the commercial invoice by UPS

Effective March 31, 2025:

  • Print Invoice Fee: A fee of $5.00 per invoice copy will apply for each printed copy of a UPS invoice sent to shippers or other payors.
  • Check Fee and Wire Fee: Payments made by check or wire transfer on or after March 31, 2025 will be assessed a fee of $25.00 per payment.  This fee will not apply to ACH payments.
  • The Late Payment Fee will increase from 8% to 9.9% of the total past due invoice balance, including past due late fees.

Effective May 19, 2025:

  • A Payment Processing Fee equal to 2% of all other invoice charges will be added to each invoice.
  • The Credit Card Surcharge will no longer apply.
